A vibrant community needs people who get involved. You don’t have to become a member of the James Loeb Society or support us financially to do so. Perhaps you simply enjoy working with others to get things off the ground, have specialized knowledge, or would like to help us out with practical tasks from time to time.
We welcome people who are willing to share their time, experience, and ideas with us.
How you can get involved:
Help plan events
Help us prepare and facilitate lectures, exhibitions, guided tours, workshops, and other events. From preparation assistance to on-site coordination with guests, there are many ways to get involved.
Support the organization
Do you have experience in event management, communications, cultural work, or project organization? Your expertise can help us implement new ideas professionally and effectively.
Contribute your knowledge and skills
Photography, design, social media, technology, translation, research, or public relations; A variety of skills can enrich our work. Even a humble contribution of skill can make a big difference.
Make Connections
Perhaps you know some interesting speakers, artists, scholars, institutions, or potential partners. Good connections can lead to new encounters and projects.

Involvement according to your ability
With us, getting involved doesn’t have to mean fitting a new volunteer role into an already packed schedule. You decide for yourself when, how often, and to what extent you’d like to participate. A single evening can be just as valuable as supporting a project over several months.
